(Network of Research Computer Image SystemS in Europe) in 1993 the Centre de Recherche et de Restauration des Mus\u00e9es de France decided to restart a research activity on this matter. The Associazione Giovanni Secco Suardo\u2019s experience in this project have produced the first specific Italian conservation-restoration glossary: <em>Pittura Murale. Proposta per un glossario<\/em> (Mural painting.
