The interesting activity of census of the recently acquired Carlo Barbieri archive continues, hosting a substantial amount of photographic material – prints, negatives and slides – valuable evidence of forty years of work aimed at the recovery of countless works such as paintings on canvas, woods and frescoes. On the slides Carlo Barbieri (1940-2020) during the restoration of the Annunciation by Antonio da Ferrara in the Church of Santa Maria in Castello “della Sagra” in Carpi and during the cleaning of a painting on canvas in the laboratory.
