In July, the international cooperation project signed bySecco Suardo Association with the Ministry of Culture of Georgia (National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia) was concluded. It regarded the definition and coordination of a plan for the rearrangement and handling of the icons belonging to the collection of the Medieval Christian Treasury and the other 13,000 artifacts of the Shalva Amiranashvilidi National Museum in Tbilisi.

The project also involved an initial safety measures for the works and training of the museum’s internal staff, activities made possible thanks to the advice and direct participation of Dr. Maria Fratelli and Dr. Davide Riggiardi.
