The Last Supper of Leonardo, certainly one of the most famous mural paintings in the history of art, is also unique in the history of restoration. The conference is an opportunity to recount the complex conservative events of this work of art through the various restoration interventions from the eighteenth century to today. Speakers: Pietro Petraroia, director of restoration works from 1991 to 1999, Pietro Cesare Marani, scholar of Leonardo and the conservative events of the Cenacolo and co-director of restoration from 1991 to 1999, and Pinin Brambilla Barcillon, which carried out the last restoration from 1977 to 1999.
