Le Dimore del Quartetto celebrates ten years of activity, and Associazione Giovanni Secco Suardo with ASRI will also be in Florence
On Wednesday, July 1, 2026, the inaugural event of the celebrations for the tenth anniversary of Le Dimore del Quartetto, the international cultural network that for ten years has promoted dialogue between music, historical heritage, and the local area through an innovative model for enhancing historic homes, will be held in the prestigious Palazzo Corsini in Florence.
The initiative will bring together historic residence owners, representatives of cultural institutions, industry professionals, musicians, and professionals committed to protecting and enhancing heritage, offering an important opportunity to discuss the role historic residences can play as places of cultural production, research, education, and participation.
Associazione Giovanni Secco Suardo will be present at the meeting by virtue of its long-standing collaboration with the Le Dimore del Quartetto network and its shared commitment to promoting a vision of cultural heritage based on knowledge, conservation, and its transmission to future generations.
The day will also be a particularly significant moment for the Association, as it will celebrate the prestigious recognition obtained by ASRI – National Historical Archive of Italian Restorers, proclaimed winner of the European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards 2026 in the Research category.
The award, presented by the European Commission and Europa Nostra, represents Europe’s most authoritative recognition in the field of cultural heritage and highlights over thirty years of activity carried out by the Associazione Giovanni Secco Suardo in the collection, conservation, inventorying, and promotion of the archives of Italian restorers.
Founded in 1995 and developed through the collaboration of universities, research institutes, restorers, and cultural institutions, ASRI has built a unique network of knowledge across Europe over time, contributing to the preservation of the historical memory of restoration and providing scholars and professionals with fundamental tools for research and the protection of cultural heritage.
Participation in the Florence event therefore represents an important opportunity to share this result with an international community that, through music, research, and the valorization of historic homes, demonstrates how cultural heritage can be a driver of growth, innovation, and social cohesion.
