International Study Conference “Cesare Brandi and the Development of Modern Conservation and Restoration Theory”, New York, October 4, 2006
The conference in New York focused on the figure of Cesare Brandi, a significant step in the campaign for the dissemination of his thought, his work and, more generally, in the critical evaluation of the Brand’s legacy in relation to contemporary historical-artistic and conservative culture in the United States. Furthermore, on this occasion, the new English version “Theory of restoration”, curated by Giuseppe Basile, was presented.
The conference proceedings have been collected and published in a volume.
